hello Party People...welcome to Friday. We went to see The Vaccines perform their Debut Show last night at The FlowerPot in Camden....and my o my did we love it. They managed to grab the audience with catchy lyrics...namely "do you wanna"...and amazing vocals - the lead singer Justin - did not dissappoint. Theres also something about the band as a whole that you can't take your eyes off...they've got a great look and a punchy presence...and their little jigs just get everyones feet-a-movin'!
We still don't know who to liken them to...but theres definatley a hint of The Ramones in a few songs, and "Norgaard" was reminiscent of the Beach Boys, which, (btw) was one of our favourites of the night.
So for now we leave you with the happiness that you can check out their first singles below and on their website!! And if you become as obsessed as us...heres the tour dates AGAIN...there'll be no excuse to miss em.
